This ship has some attributes that I enjoyed more than I have on previous Princess cruises. I found the dining facilities to have very good food with a creative new menu that tried to match our itinerary. Also, the Horizon Court is far superior than other buffet areas on my previous Princess cruises. Things that I found lacking (not important to everyone but, important to me) were lack of pool area. I found this to be a major deficiency and never did I see a sign reminding passengers that unattended towels will be remove in 45 minutes like I have seen on other cruises. Needless to say, near the few pool were towels on every chair without people in the limited pool areas. Also, the Princess Theater was much smaller than I had expected for such a very large ship. Another major deficiency was the size of the balconies. They couldn't be any wider than 4 foot wide.

Would I book another cruise on this ship? Probably, but, the price would have to be right and I definitely wouldn't use Princess Reservations to make my reservation. I had awful problems with this department and came very close to canceling my cruise due to their lack of attention, skills, and rudeness.

I stayed at the Comfort Suites (Cruiseport, Ft. Lauderdale) prior to leaving on my cruise. These guys are the greatest. They really know how to help you relax before embarking on your adventure. It has a great staff and location with many great places to eat within walking distance.
