As soon as I boarded I knew this trip was a mistake . Far from being 'new' and exciting it was like an old performer with too much makeup . The Aria is not ready to receive guests . The lifts are out of order most of the time and when you are lucky enough to get one going your way it mysteriously changes direction . The Pantry was a nightmare not only with the unappetising food but the placement of buckets catching water coming from the ceiling surrounded by police style tape . Actually there were a lot of areas taped off because of broken or dangerous fixtures and fittings .

The food throughout the ship was sub standard even in the 'posh' restaurants . Don't know how they could make a baked dinner taste like a stew .I ended up having toast @ veggie for breakfast and paid for my coffee . Lunch was a bread roll and soup . Dinner was mostly at the Waterfront restaurant where they score a 5 out of 10 .Our shower took 3 hours to fix after we went through 4 separate staff members assuming we were too stupid to know how to use it. 2 cabins down from us were flooded and the pax were expected to remain in them even after the carpets were still damp. An elderly lady was told when her toilet started to overflow she was using too much toilet paper . It was well known by then that the staff toilets were unusable as there was /is a major plumbing problem on board

Cabin Review

Cabin oceanview

Beds very comfortable . Bed linen not changed for the whole 10 days . TV unwatchable .wardrobe good .carpets and curtains old and threadbare. The bath is very high and difficult to get in or out of . The shower is a challenge
