NCL Management needs to do a better job of communicating prior to the cruise. Our only real complaints were the lack of information regarding the check-in process. Why did they provide luggage tags to print and instruction to attach them to our luggage when THERE WAS NO LUGGAGE SERVICE AT THE PIER for the 2-night cruise? Also, the numbering system used as you check in made no sense. It seemed like 90% of the people waiting to board were in group number 21 judging by the way the cheer went up when they said "and now, number 11 through 21" (there were no numbers 11-20). At least the room was ready when we got on board around 11:30.

The only positive while we were sitting and waiting for embarkation was that the NCL ship WiFi became available around 10:30 and we were able to make entertainment reservation while sitting in the pier. Saved another line on board to make reservations.

No complaints with the food. Moderno was good. We enjoyed it. Breakfast at O'Sheehan's both morning was quick and good. The buffet was, well, just a buffet. No surprises but nothing to write home about. Dinner at Savor met all expectations. Nothing outstanding but just good food.

Cabin Review

Mid-Ship Balcony Stateroom

Cabin BA

The cabin we had was a mid-ship balcony (category BA) on deck 13. Was noticeably smaller than the equivalent cabin we had on Quantum of the Seas last year. A few inches here and there really made a difference between the bed and closet, and in the transporter capsule they call a shower.
