This was our 17th cruise - 4th on Oceania.

The food was very good for the most part and in perfect portions for multiple-course meals (with the exception of perhaps one overzealous cook who seemed to greatly overcook the fish fillets from time to time). As I heard one chef say a few years ago: "If I want overcooked fish, I'll open a can!"

The ship is beautiful and sails like a dream. We were very fortunate to have great weather and mostly calm seas for the entire crossing/voyage.

Port Reviews

Madeira (Funchal)

Was a good over all tour which provided spectacular views while winding up and down the mountains.

Nassau

Lovely small zoo and gardens.

Malaga

We were there last year and took an excursion then. Walking around town was very pleasant.

Cartagena (Colombia)

We were there last year and took an excursion then. It is very pleasant to walk around independently.

Barcelona

This was our third time in Barcelona and we stayed overnight in H1898 on La Rambla before embarking on the cruise. Hotel was very good.
