This reviewer is 58 years young, my DW is 57. Royal Caribbean's Nordic Prince was our first cruise back in 1986, a 10 day Eastern Caribbean cruise which we still use as our benchmark for cruises that followed. Ah, the good old days!

DW booked this 4 night cruise as "my Christmas gift" to her with an Internet Agency. She could not resist the price per diem, plus it was a great escape from the winter blahs here in the Middle Atlantic region.

We flew down to Ft Lauderdale a day early, then took Easy Express (highly recommended) to the Hyatt Miami hotel. It was a nice hotel, clean room, friendly staff, and quiet. Be mindful which way you turn out the front lobby: we had the opportunity to view shuttered storefronts looking for a particular restaurant which we never found. It was a bit spooky on a Sunday evening.
