First time cruiser review.. Well we finally took our first cruise. The new NCL escape. I was amazed at the entire trip. Hoards of people pilled in on top of each other. I could not believe how much people drink. After seeing the scene most people will HATE the Haven on the Escape. It is truly a Haven. No hoards of people/ quiet, clean and high quality everything. Bigger padded lounge chairs with newly rolled over size towel on each chair. From the response of the workers to the action of the other passengers a completely different ship environment.

So why do I say this.. here is my interpretation of free style lunch on the main ship. It is as close to black Friday shopping I have ever seen while holding your plate of food. So if you love cruising then you will HATE the Haven. Civil, calm, quiet, and a 2 bedroom suite with 3 phones (one portable for shore and on ship use), 3 TV's, daily treats delivered by your butler, Fast pass entrance to all events, and the best restaurant on the ship period. We tried all the others for supper and the Haven won hands down. All 3 meals are served in the Haven. The next closest was Cagney's. So would I cruise again.. Small example of how different the Haven is...While getting on the ship the entertainer "PITBULL" was making a video from the main swimming area on board in the Haven. As a younger man I would have enjoyed the entire ship more but At this age I will wait on a entire HAVEN Ship..lol My first and last cruise. Back to sailing the ocean, hiking the mountains, traveling to Europe for me.

Cabin Review

The Haven 2-bedroom Family Villa with Balcony

Cabin H4

This cabin was awesome compared to most hotel rooms. 2 bedrooms. One king size bed with an awesome station for the wife.(make up...primping) The kids had their own room with a large tv and 2 seat counter with their own private bath. Living room with large tv and seating for 5, dining area with 3 chairs and table. Over size balcony with two over size chairs with table. Master bedroom with large tv and private bath with tub and separate show with full wall of glass looking onto the ocean. Mini bar, 4 ac controllers, 3 phones on portable to keep tract of others while on ship and shore. Highly recommend this cabin to all!
