I found the cruise relaxing but lacked activities for younger cruisers. Also found that being a single male and having the twin beds pushed together to make a king bed was a bit of a problem, as i tended to roll into the crack between the two beds.
All in All it was great the food was fantastic as was the staff. I also found it a bit rich having a 15% tax added to all drink purchases, it sure adds up and before you know it after a 2 week cruise you have clocked up in excess of $700 US ($875 Australian). Wine prices where 2 times the bottle shop prices in Australia, eg Deakin Estate Shiraz approx $35 on the ship and $15 in a bottle shop in Perth. I always imagined that Booze would be at duty free prices at sea, I was wrong, and HAL only allows you to bring One bottle of wine onboard to be drunk in your cabin. If you take it to dinner they will charge you a corkage, always out to find ways os making the extra $$$$$.
Also Visa's for ports visited are twice the price of getting the visa bofore getting on board. ( ie Cambodia visa $68US on the ship, $30 US dollars when purchased prior to cruise, and shore excursions are really not worth the money. get a taxi in Port and do your own thing either with yourself or a group of shipmates. You will see more and it will cost less.
Large with a window overlooking the walking deck. needs updated still has old style TV ( Flat screen needed) and to small to view from your bed.
