We are Diamond on RCCL, and have also sailed many times on Princess and Carnival. This was our first sailing on the Oasis, although we had sailed on the Allure a few years back. We planned this cruise as a relaxing getaway and we weren't disappointed. We had booked an ocean view cabin this trip and it was comfortable with more than adequate storage. Our friendly attendant did a great job keeping our cabin clean and the ice bucket filled. Although we had My Time dining reservations, once we got onboard, we weren't excited about the main dining room menus, so ended up in the buffet every night. First night the buffet had a delicious and very tender prime rib. Another night they had broiled lobster tails. Another night we filled up on shrimp cocktails. Best dinner buffet we've ever had on RCCL! Did breakfast in the main dining room a few times, and it was nice to meet people and relax over the slower pace. Tried Sabors for lunch and dinner. Service was excellent and the food was good, but not exceptional and we couldn't see why people rave about the food. The entertainment was very good, and unlike many prior posters, we really enjoyed CATS. The RCCL singers and dancers did a superb job! We also especially enjoyed the beautiful Diamond Lounge, trivia and the casino. All around a great time, and we are booked again on Oasis in December 2016 when she sails from Port Canaveral.
