Savor the journey is the new motto of HAL. On the Rotterdam you certainly can. This is our 4th cruise on this ship in the past 5 years. We have noticed some changes,for the best:
- Lido : better service , drinks brought to the tables, faster clean-up, more staff
- entertainment : best so far on HAL ships, dancers and singers were really good as well as outside entertainment , a pianoplayer, illusionist, singers

Go enjoy Rotterdam : Markthal, Boymans van Beuningen Museum, SS Rotterdam, shopping in the Lijnbaan, Maritime Museum etc etc etc
Porto (Leixoes)
Transportation to Porto : bus ( 2 blocks from ship) about 25 minutes.
In Porto: port tasting !
Lisbon
Maritime Museum and Alfama
Madeira (Funchal)
Hired a cab for the day, took us around the eastern part of the Island: Cabo Girao, Nun's valley,Machico, Ribeiro Frio etc. Great island.
