We spent 2 nights prior to boarding at Hilton Caribe in San Juan. San Juan is a fun place to visit. I would highly recommend this hotel. The rooms were great and the hotel grounds and staff were terrific. Hotel has 2 Starbucks (one on the beach) and a Morton's Steakhouse.

Our group was three couples and we have taken quite a few cruises together.

We took taxi to the ship and had priority boarding which was outstanding. The ship is in very good condition and renovated just last year. We made our way to Windjammer for lunch and very soon after, our cabins were available to us. The luggage arrived very timely.

Cabin Review

Junior Suite

Cabin JS

Absolutely loved our room. The storage space is incredible. The walk in closet is large and the bathroom has a shower/bathtub combo. Our cabin was located forward and we were close to the elevator which was perfect. We had a couch, nice table along with two padded chairs and two desk chairs. The balcony was good size with two chairs.

Port Reviews

San Juan

Barcardi tour was fun and informative. On the way the drive gave us a tour of Old Town San Juan. At Bacardi tour was inside and outside. Told how the rum is processed, then tasting of rum and later we got a delicious rum drink

St. Thomas

An outstanding excursion. The zipping was extremely safe and started off easy and then got more exciting along the way. Loved out guides. It did rain and was cold for a short time, then they gave us ponchos. Highly recommend!

St. Croix

A very fun port. We went to the beach and loved our time there. After beach we ate at Turtles Deli. Outstanding place for sandwiches.

Antigua

Found a most beautiful beach....one of only 365 beaches. What an island...

St. Lucia

We walked a ways into town, hounded by taxi drivers along the way. Went to a market place and then got a taxi driver to spend an hour taking us around. It was great. This was followed up by a quick rum punch at Cafe Tropical - free wi-fi right at the port shops :-)

Grenada

Rained a lot but we were in taxi most of the time. We went to Annadale Falls, it poured but it was warm. Watched locals cliff dive. Fun place to visit. Followed by a fabulous stop at a resort (small 10 room boutique hotel) where we had a great lunch and beach time in very warm water.
