This was our second NCL cruise this time on a smaller ship and it was very relaxing. Houston is a small port with no confusion when departing. They have less employees than other terminals but all are very helpful and polite. The Hawaii theme on the Jade is very colorful after a day you get used to it but the ship is very clean . Our room was very well maintained and the the room stewards on our floor were very cordial and learned our names after the second day, they even worked around our sleeping in late on sea days. We had the UDP and found that the food was great and the service lacked in some of the restaurants almost as if they were short handed. If you informed them ahead of time you were going to a show they took care of you so it all worked out. I understand there was a pipe break on the ship one day and I'm sure that ruined some travelers trip but it did not affect our floor.

The excursions are what you make them, we found Belize to be beautiful and the people extremely friendly and welcoming. Rotaan is another gem and it's snorkeling is fantastic we will be back to both stops, we booked our own excursions outside of NCL.
