Sail Date: Dec 2015
Cabin: Balcony Stateroom

Breakaway is a newer ship, our states room though small was comfortable and had a balcony. The staff was prompt in cleaning the room. I enjoyed the hot tub, entertainment shows and the food. It was my birthday celebration time and I was given a cake on the last day of trip. Also they delivered a dessert to my room by a very charming staff of Manhattan restaurant the ship is very big with over 4000 guests and over 1500 crew members.

The buffet restaurant was good but the large crowds made it less enjoyable. The breakfast time egg preparation were less of quality than expected. Loud socialization by certain groups of people made it less enjoyable. These groups were not eating but used dining areas for socializing.

The water bottle in states room was very expensive, so we were using drinking water supplied in dining area, which I think was of questionable quality. I got a bit sick after 4 days in the cruise and I blame the water quality. I will advise guests to bring their own water before embarkation.
