My husband & I are experienced cruisers & we decided to plan a family reunion with our two sons & their families on a cruise ship. One of our daughters-in-law had never cruised & preferred to try a short cruise, so we chose Royal Caribbean's Enchantment of the Seas with very low expectations. Our group consisted of 2 seniors, 4 adults & 3 children ages 4,5 & 7.

We stayed at the Hampton Inn in Titusville, FL the night before the cruise & found it very convenient & pleasant, about a half an hour drive to the cruise port. They also offered discount parking coupons for pier parking.

Embarkation was very quick & pleasant, we boarded about 11:30am. Halls to the cabins were closed, so you couldn't drop anything in your room. Cabins were available about 1:30. Windjammer café was very busy & crowded, we chose to avoid it for the rest of the cruise. However, food was good & very large variety to choose from. Found the Park Café in the Solarium much better for breakfast & lunch & late nite snacks. The ship was in surprisingly good shape, clean & well maintained.
