Sail Date: Dec 2015
Cabin: Mini-Suite with Balcony

This was our first cruise with Norwegian Cruise Lines and our third cruise overall. One of the first things I noticed was the ships crew and staff. They went over and above in customer service. Extremely polite, always engaging the passengers and presented an upbeat attitude at all times. I found it very refreshing, as their attitudes shaped a pleasant and relaxing environment.

The Norwegian Personal Cruise Consultants (PCC)

I will definitely ensure I don't receive the same one for our next cruise. Norwegian needs to do some work with these call centers, who take reservations for guests. Customer Service is lacking and way to much misinformation is being disseminated to guests and potential customers.

Cabin Review

Mini-Suite with Balcony

Cabin MB

Our mini-suite cabin mattress, good golly both beds were very uncomfortable, but we managed. None of our cruises had exceptional mattresses, so this wasn't something new to us.

The mini suite is a bit larger than the standard balcony. Most notably was the balcony and the bathroom. The tv sitting area was noticeably larger than the standard balcony. The room was very quite, but I had checked deck plans to ensure I wasn't near anything that would hinder our sleep. The cabin was clean and I loved the idea of the bathing soap dispensers in the shower and sink areas.

The closet space was fantastic and there was plenty of room for everyone.

Port Reviews

Belize City

We free styled all of our ports of call. Of a special note, Belize City, outside of the cruise port, seemed very sketchy and not safe. Be careful.

New Orleans

Nice, very noisy and hotel parking wasn't at the hotel, it was 8 blocks away.

Roatan

We free styled all of our ports of call. We enjoyed a wonderful full island tour in a large newer Toyota Van. There were only 4 of us and the driver showed us everything, both sides of the island and the residential developments on top of the mountain(s). Fantastic views of the ocean.
