The Escape is a beautiful ship, but we were a bit disappointed that there wasn't a second pool where you could get away from the children. Little kids everywhere. Our last Norwegian cruise in 2014 was on the Jewel, and it seemed to have a better layout although it's a much smaller ship. We had mini suites on both ships but the Escape room was a bit smaller.... great bathroom though. The food was the biggest let-down. No comparison to Royal Caribbean or Princess. The entertainment was good. The District Bar had a great lounge singer in the evenings. The service was outstanding, as usual. The best thing of all was the all-inclusive drink package and no paperwork to sign every time you got a drink. That is a good move on their part. The ports of call were fine. Tortilla is a small port with lovely people, St. Thomas is great as was the trip to Trunk Bay on St. John. Nassau is Nassau where the locals can take you or leave you. Visited the Hard Rock there and have never had such terrible service. Next time we'll just stay on board.

Stay on the ship and save yourself the agony of very unfriendly people.
