We have been cruising since 1990 and have Elite Captain's Club status on Celebrity. We had a lovely balcony cabin on deck 7 which our attendant kept spotless daily. The beds and bedding were exceptionally comfortable, among the best we've encountered at sea. The dining room dinners, however, lacked flavor and presentation. For example, the lobster tail was a good size but dry, even with extra spoonfuls of butter. The accompanying mold of white rice with peas & carrots was pasty and tasteless which made for a poor dining experience. The scallop appetizer one evening consisted of 2 nickel-size, over-cooked scallops in a shell. It sounded so good on the menu but was pitifully small and dry. The entertainers gave it their all with their singing and dancing and arial acts but the dreary set remained the same for all 3 of their production shows and the costumes weren't elaborate enough to counteract it. Add 2 different less than impressive comedians and the Beatles on the other nights and it made for a week of mediocre theater entertainment for us. We were expecting more from Celebrity's lovely new ship but didn't get it. Our cruise was not a wash-out by any means but was disappointing in these areas.
