We have been of 27 cruises including 7 TransAtlantics and 8 NCL (Sky, Jewel, Sun, Epic, Getaway, & Escape)

We booked a year in advance believing a maiden voyage woud have many extras as the owners would highlight their newest ship.... Wrong on all accounts... The transfer that NCL arranged from the airport to the ship was late & they had stopped taking boarding photos when we got to the ship (a dissapointment as we thought the background woud show it as a new ship........ Entertainment far from top of the line, A main theater to small for the number of passengers aboard the ship...

on the subject of food, A limited & not impressive menue in the main dining room. Savor and Taste both served the same items nightly... Breakfast at these was very slow service & getting your eggs 1st but the toast later was not satisfactory... Jimmy buffets was not planned for cold windy rainy days... almost all seats are designed for the warm caribbean....We had reservations for the Italian restaurant.. a very limiter Italian menue..I had a tough time explaining to the waitress that I just wanted spaghetti with a meat sauce......O'Sheehan's served a good fish dinner also was good breakfast place ....We tried a pepperoni pizza at the Pizza bar once, the crust was thin like a cracker...
