This was our first cruise and what a Major, Major disappointment NCL was! After standing in line for over 3 hours to board the NCL Dawn, one wonders what exactly the point was of "scheduling" your boarding time. Apparently there was none. Our room, a midship mini-suite, was nice, especially the balcony.

But from there on, everything went down hill. In a nut shell, poor food (including the speciality restaurants), slow service, overcrowded elevators, dirty sticky bannisters and hand rails, endless, and I do mean endless sales promotions for over-priced, low quality products, rushed excursions, and a terrible casino.

Maybe my expectations were set too high, but I at least expected the food to be better than your local Golden Corral. Never again on Norwegian Cruise Lines!
