The wife and I did the dec 5th cruise as a 10 year anniversary and was the same nil cruise we took then. We've been on a few and had a good time.

Pros: boarding and departure was fast and easy. Our kid loved the children's program and asked to go back whenever he could. The staff were always great and helpful. The food was ok, but I remember past ones being better. It was nice not to gain much weight though for once on a cruise. The spa was enjoyable for my wife. They offered a lot of fun little contests to participate in, which resulted in a free spa treatment for the wife. The inside cabin fit the three of us comfortably and was always well kept. The entertainment was good for the most part. We weren't a fan of the song/dance group but the rest was fun. Overall, it was a good vacation.

Cons: the quality seemed lower from past cruises. Not bad, just not what I remembered from previous ncl cruises.the food was usually good, but ocassionally disappointed. We had a funny incident where our son got pb&j and it came on rye bread...he ate it, but we thought it tasted awful. We don't eat at the buffets on board but they seemed fine.the restaurants seemed to take 1-1.5 hours to complete a meal which occasionally caused schedule conflicts with shows. Read more
