We sailed with 3 families with kids from 3 to 6 years old. We have been on 4 Royal Caribbean cruises in the past and this is the first time we decided to try Celebrity. Reflection is a beautiful ship and well maintained. It felt a little different without Royal Promenades they have on Royal Caribbean ships but it was a lot faster to get from one end to another on Reflection compare to Oasis.
Food. We really enjoyed buffet and dinners at the Opus dinning room. I think food quality is excellent and there were always big variety for everybody. We enjoyed going to buffet around 6pm for some sushi and drinks before main dinner at the dinning room. Also steaks and fish to order section at the buffet were always fresh.
Children. I think reflection isn't really geared towards families with kids. Other then kids club there were no other activities or programs for the kids on the ship. Since this was 4 ports cruise and only 2 days at sea cruise we really didn't see at as a big problem but Royal Caribbean ships have an advantage over Reflection for the kids activities. Our kids really enjoyed kids club and most of the time they didn't want to leave. Kids club staff doing a great job entertaining and keeping children interested on coming back. My daughter and other kids in our group stayed at the kids club until 11-12am nightly while we enjoyed our own time. Since most of the people on the ship 50 and over I felt like most of the people were not to kin having kids running around them but this is just my opinion.
