I was looking forward to this cruise for over a year. We were originally booked on Eurodam in November but had to be rebooked on Oosterday for some reason. (I think the Eurodam was chartered, perhaps?)
In return, we received a cabin upgrade, a healthy onboard credit, as well as some other niceties.
We three were in cabin 8043, a "signature suite". Of course, our cabin might have been larger but I know that is a common criticism. Even with the size, it wasn't bad. Each morning, we ordered coffee and juice for the cabin. One morning, before going on a relatively early shore excursion, our order did not appear. The order was lost. Granted this is not a monumental thing nor did it ruin the cruise but it was noticed. The other days, the order was brought on time.
Very nice cabin. Air conditioning could have been better. Big enough for three adults.
Took cab to Sunset Bar & Grill on Maho Beach to watch airplanes land. Bucket list item crossed off.
St. Lucian rum is the best!
Walked around, shopped.
Walked around...Not much to see or do since it was a Sunday.
Bus/train trip around the island...A cappella singers on the train were fantastic. Worth every moment.
Fantastic tour of the island with lots to see. Stopped and were able to take photos from great spots.
If you want a cabana, book early!
