We just finished out tenth cruise (2nd on RC) aboard the Adventure of the Seas. She is a tired old ship that is in need of rest. This was not what I am used to on cruises. Her windows in the Wind Jammer restaurant were so dirty they made it hard to look through. Windows had apparently been replaced and had sealer smeared all over them.

I will have to give Royal credit for good staffing. Out room steward was as good as they get and very friendly and helpful. The first two days we had no hot water and another guest we talked to had five days of overflowing toilets that the crew could not stop.

Breakfast was the worst of our meals. It did not make any difference if you ordered omelets of just eggs they tasted like artificial eggs. The bacon was always limp and not crisp regardless of how it was ordered. Very little change in food served every day during lunch at the Wind Jammer. Also there was very few choices on the main dinning room menu. If not for our very good waiter (Warren) and our excellent assistant waiter (Alex) we would have probably have given up on the main dinning room but they made it worth attending. I think that twice is enough Royal, we'll be trying other lines in the future.

Cabin Review

Deluxe Oceanview Stateroom with Balcony

Cabin E1

Was not what the brochure showed in the picture. No sitting area and one chair that you had to walk around in a tight cabin. Chair needed replaced.

Port Reviews

St. Croix

Been to island before so only went to pier shopping. Very nice shopping.

St. Kitts (Port Zante)

We took a tour of the island with a small group because we had not been to this island. Very nice with beautiful views.

Barbados

Changed a lot from previous trips around pier area. Very nice change.
