Absolutely loved the Carnival Glory. We were on the Carnival Liberty in January and that cruise was great but the Glory had something else... The staff and crew were some of the nicest and helpful people I have came across on a cruise ship. Our Stewards were fantastic and always made sure our room was spotless and well kept. We had a balcony room on the deck 8 Mid ship and felt that this was just as any other Carnival cabin, and did not experience any noise from above as we were told we could have experienced on other review websites.

As for the food I loved the variety carnival offers, Guys burger joint was my fav. But at the end of the day we were not on a 5* cruise ship and we felt the food was sufficient but to get the most out of vacation the MDR is the better choice food quality and variety was excellent, we had anytime dining. Food at the buffet was good but was limited at dinner time only a couple of choices compared to lunch time etc. The Steak house was well worth the $35.

Entertainment was great, the shows were lively and get out of your seat material. There was something for everyone. Comedy's, show stoppers and musicals. The back screen which we were told was just under $1 million was stunning and really added to the show.

Balcony

Cabin 8D

Lovely comfortable cabin, spacious and spotlessly cleaned by Benjamin and his team. Plenty of wardrobe space and the most comfiest bed ever!!!

Port Reviews

Half Moon Cay

Extremely Hot in June and with the white sand it sun is very reflective so use plenty of sunscreen. Complimentary BBQ food and Water, OJ and other Juice's was well received. Only negative was the long wait for tender.

San Juan

Great stop on our cruise. Shopping was great Ralph Lauren shop at the port was very cheap...

St. Thomas

Paid for the view bar and food at the top were well overpriced. St Thomas was my favorite stop out of the itinerary.

Grand Turk

Been to Grand Turk before but we were off the ship for a good two hours before there was any other ship in port so had free rein to the shops and beach absolutely loved it. However we arrived and the Splendor was already in port and the Island, beaches and shops were swarmed with people. Felt that the locals working in the duty free and in the shops were not interested in us being there and were not very welcome this time... possibly because of the two ships in port.

Miami

Loved the Iconic skyline in the port of miami. Found embarkment the smoothest we have ever encountered. On board within 45 Minutes.
