A smaller ship (2100+ passengers) is great for exploring. Getting off the ship every day was wonderful, having freedom of choice. Overnight in Maui and Kauai, a shorter day in Hilo and Kona. Alamo Car Rental was the cheapest and sent a shuttle to the port to pick up the many renters, everywhere but Kona and Honolulu. Saved a lot by driving myself, easy to navigate the islands.

Complimentary restaurants were adequate. Preferred the buffet for most meals, a little of this, a little of that. Breakfast was excellent. Soft ice cream was the best anywhere. Had free movies on 2 channels, in rotation. No casino, no cash bingo. Was able to get a "buy one get one fare", excellent value. Lots of quiet deck areas, away from pool. Only NCL ship I would consider again.

Small. Good closet space. Tiny shower. TV had 2 free movie channels. Bedding was heavy, steward was able to provide blankets.
