I'm actually still in the middle of this cruise, and am so amazed at how poor the experience has been that I had to hop online to check other reviews and see if we're living a fluke. Unfortunately not, as I can confirm what I see is the same story from many others here. This ship is an embarrassment to the RCI fleet and brands.

Over 15 years I've been on perhaps 6-7 cruises, all on RC and Celebrity, to the Caribbean, Med, Panama, Nova Scotia, the works. Regardless of the class of ship, destination or passenger mix I've always found crew members to be the pinnacle of warm, world-class service and ships to be spotless and well-maintained around the clock. In that context, being on Brilliance is like being in the Twilight Zone.

With few exceptions, the staff has been apathetic at best to gruff and even rude at worst. The restaurant and bar staff are a particular lowlight. For example, last night we stopped at the bar outside of Chops before dining there. We tried to order two different wines that were on the bar list; not only did they not have either one, but the bartender looked at us like WE were the problem. When we went to look for another wine choice, he waited for not even a second before mumbling and walking away.
