There were a number of important aspects to this cruise experience which left us, a couple travelling with 3 companions, disappointed and feeling mislead by P & O advertising and promotion.

Service and food quality standards were not up to any anything like an acceptable level. Wait staff, whilst generally friendly and obliging, have not been trained to the requisite standard. Some experienced wait staff and well trained Matre d' interspersed among the others were not enough to lift the standard.
