This was only our second cruise, and our first on Norwegian. It was part of a deal through Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Biloxi, MS. Our first cruise was on Carnival a year ago, and that trip made us fall in love with cruises.

We arrived at the terminal at 12:50, and it took us an hour and 20 minutes to get checked in, and on our way onto the ship. All the check-in person did was check us in. They provided no information concerning anything.

When we arrived at our cabin our steward was there, and he greeted us, but he was unable to answer any questions concerning dinner, shows, beverage package or activities. Electrical outlets are scarce, and there are none at either bedside, so we asked him for an extension cord, which he promptly provided. It was a tripping hazard for the entire cruise. I also asked for a larger deck chair, because the one provided was too small for me. He could not get one.

Cabin Review

Family Mini-Suite with Balcony

Cabin M2

Very nice. You will need an extension cord if you have more than two things to charge or a CPAP machine. The room had a king size bed which was comfortable. The room also had a desk and a couch. The bathroom was very nice and spacious for a ship, with a walk-in shower with multiple shower heads.

Port Reviews

Tortola

In a month or two it will have a very nice shopping area at the port. The island itself is beautiful. Don't bother with downtown.
