Sail Date: Nov 2015

We did the 3-night inaugural cruise from Miami to the Bahamas on November 11, 2015. We had a standard BC balcony cabin. All in all this was a great cruise. Both embarkation and disembarkation were perhaps the easiest I have ever had.

We arrived at the port around 11am. The lines for check in were long, but since we are Platinum, we were able to bypass them. We quickly check in and were given boarding group number 4. Once on board, we headed to Margaritaville for lunch. I have been to several land based Margaritaville restaurants. The food is always so-so, but this was much better. service was outstanding, and the food was piled high and tasted good!

We had breakfast mostly in O'Sheehan's, and it was good as usual. There were some service issues, both here and in the MDRs. I'm not sure if the ship was short staffed .... but I have bene on many, man NCL's cruises, and never had the wait times that we had here. Not just waiting for food, but also service issues - like someone taking your drink order, or your food order. Hopefully, those issues have been resolved by now.
