My husband and I booked the Escape as our first ever cruise. We got married earlier this year, so we also opted to make this our honeymoon. Having booked the cruise about 10 months in advance, we spent a lot of time daydreaming about the trip and the relaxation that we would enjoy.

First off, I read almost all of the posts on the Everything Escape thread, along with lots of other posts here on Cruise Critic. I think for our first cruise we thought we were well prepared. We also read the reviews from the taster cruises and the first Caribbean cruise.

Yes, we did have a good time and yes, we enjoyed ourselves. But the ship was not the amount of money that we paid.

Port Reviews

St. Thomas

Great excursion. Highly recommend.

Tortola

Barely anything to do in this port, unless you book an excursion.

Miami

Not much to the port, but still nice.

Nassau

The port was extremely busy. We did enjoy shopping.
