We took the cruise the Sunday after Thanksgiving. I've been on around 10 cruises, so this wasn't my first one. I'm 52, Husband is 62.

First of all, I recommend using UBER to get to the port. The trip from airport was only $14 compared to the $25 the taxi's were charging. The day we arrived we got there early since we had a early flight. We were in group 3 to get on the ship. No problems getting registered. No lines when we got there since it was early.

The ship did not leave port on Sunday as scheduled due to repair problems. So, our first night on the ship we were stuck in port. No casino, no free drinks with our drink card we received when we booked the cruise with the casino. So, needless to say we had to purchase our drinks the first night. Of course you are going to want to drink, it's your first night on the ship. We spent and extra $75 we didn't budget for that first night on drinks. I didn't get that wondering sleep while "cruising" that first night. The ports were all changed up, except for our stop in Belize on Wednesday. I do believe that they did cut one of our stops short of time too. I would have to double check. That is not really what I had a problem with though. I can deal with the change in days.
