Firstly this ship is big so if you don't like lots of people this ship is not for you.

Embarkation wasn't the best unfortunately as it took over an hour to wait sat down with a waiting number, to then be able to queue to get checked in, guess that is to be expected when so many people and luggage are getting on board. On a plus point our luggage made it to our cabin before we did. NCL transfers to ship were ok, but would have preferred not to have to lug them from the airport to the coach and then lug them over to the collection point for loading. Maybe NCL need to see that passengers really would prefer to check them in at the departure airport and not see them again until they are on ship.

We included the Ultimate Dining Package, Ultimate Beverage Package and paid all Gratuities upfront which I think was definitely worth it. There are 5 a la carte restaurants in addition to the standard complimentary restaurants so plenty of choice that's for sure.

Cabin Review

Spa Mini-Suite with Balcony

Cabin M9

The cabin design is a bit odd with the shower and toilet having frosted glass but as long as you are sharing with your partner no reason this would be an issue. We had a Spa Mini Suite and was perfect, lots of cupboard space, in fact some were so well hidden didn't find them until half way through holiday.

The Spa cabins come with complimentary access to the Spa Suite, we used it every day and allowed for a bit of relaxation away from the rest of the ship.
