Embarkation was one of the easiest and quickest ever, this is our eight cruise. second on NCL. We sailed the sun in 2011 and swore off NCL but with this new ship we thought we would give them a second chance. we booked in Feb while the ship was still in three pieces and Kevin Sheenan was still the CEO. Upon first seeing the ship in construction and at Miami we were in Awe of its Magnificence. We were Prepaid Beverages, 3 specialty dining package, prepaid gratuities, and 50 dollar on-board credit. once on board we headed to our room, we noticed the hallways were narrower than usual, when we passed another person we had to duck into a wide spot to get around, the Stewart cart took half the hallway and we has to turn sideways to get through.

The Dinners were great, the complimentary restaurants were just as good if not better than the al la carte, it was disappointing to learn the margaritaville restaurant turned al la carte just two day before boarding, but i complained loud and long enough at guest service to get it comped. also disappointed to learn there is no longer a lobster night. if you want lobster, its extra.

the shows were overall good but there were people turned away, now enough seating for all who wanted to attend. i booked very early and got to see the two free one. one was in the supper club and had to pay extra so it was essentially off limits to me. no night club, if you wanted to dance it had to be in the main dining room during dinner, band furnished.

Cabin Review

Balcony Stateroom

Cabin BD

we went in our balcony stateroom, the bathroom was noticeably bigger much to our liking, we started to put away our carry on luggage and we could not find any drawers. we later were told by our room Stewart there are two under the couch, and one of those were used for storage by the room Stewart. we uses the other for our dirty clothes since we had already put our clothes on the shelf. we decided to check out the balcony, we needed to turn sideways to get past the bed since there was only about 12 inches from the end of the bed to the wall.
