Wow, what a major disappointment as Royal follows the airlines gimic, packing more people into smaller spaces. Cabins are smaller, but the balconies are really smaller. A 6'-3" person as I am can't sit with leg crossed and have enough room to open the door. Major design futz up.
Public restrooms (at least the mens) are unusually small and unable to pass behind an occupied urinal. Small pools and very small hot tubs and one "soaking" tub? Food was ok, but dinner menu's are being reduced along with everything else. Salmon is no longer a daily offering, usually only one pasta offering, and the snapper and mahi-mahi were really bland. Even the crew have similar complaints, but they aren't allowed to say anything.
On the positive side, the boat was nicely appointed, very clean, great staff and the buffet was surprisingly good.
Cabins are a little smaller. The balconies are a real disappointment as they are at least a foot or more narrower than other Princess boats! Plus side are showers as they are a bit larger.
