My wife and I decided to do a Thanksgiving week cruise on Connie. We first sailed on her in March of 2014 and was so impressed with the ship and Celebrity after 20 cruises on RCI.

Embarkation: We arrived at the port at around 10:30 and all went smoothly. We got our seagrass cards quickly but did have to wait about 20 minutes for boarding to begin. Once onboard we headed up to the Oceanview Cafe for lunch but it was not open yet. The reason for that was that the ship was having an inspection done.

After the short delay they opened up but we're still not fully prepped and functional. Some of the food stations were still not ready and inspectors were still present. We decided to go back out by the pool grill and grab a burger while we waited for the cafe to get set up.
