We used craigslist for a ride from the airport to the Hampton Inn in Melborne. This was much cheaper than a Taxi, and not so scary as there are a lot of laws on Uber drivers, so many of them are doing long distance taxi rides through Craigslist. Hampton Inn was nice, then we caught an Uber driver to Port Canaveral. This Port was much more organized than NYC, but people were complaining.

Our reason for cruising this time was a poker tournament main even hosted by Norwegian. They had 2 guest poker stars on board, that was a highlight. After our 7 night stay I came up with these tips below.

1 - Do not eat at the Italian Restaurant because it is in the buffet at night and just sectioned off. The food was not great. Try the Bistro instead!

Mid-Ship Balcony

Cabin BA

Though you could tell it was older, it was very nice. We had plenty of room for our clothes in a big closet, and the balcony was breath taking at times. The bathroom smelled a little, but I don't think they can help that. Water pressure was great! Bring all your own toiletries unless you are bald and don't need to shave.

Port Reviews

Costa Maya

Do an excursion or you will be bored - only shopping available!!

Grand Cayman (Georgetown)

We paid $2.50 each for a taxi to take us to a private beach resort. The resort had food, drinks, etc. Very nice for cheap. Then we walked back because they tried to charge us $4 each on the way back. Should've paid the $4, but at least we got some exercise.

Ocho Rios

Once in a lifetime experience. Must be able to literally walk up a waterfall. Not a good one for disabled or people who cannot exercise.

Great Stirrup Cay

Excursions are expensive, but this place is pretty boring considering it is a private island. The beaches are nice, and you can use your unlimited drinking pass there.
