Really disappointed in NCL on the Norwegian Star very recently.

Just about everything was below the quality we've enjoyed on 5 other cruise lines, and also previously on NCL. I sense they have cut costs, applied the screws to extract revenue wherever possible - and done so while allowing staff performance to erode. That's a shame, because there are still some staff members who try hard.

The cabin was smaller than others that we've had at the same price point and ship location. It had just one regular power outlet. Often it was extremely noisy from scraping, rumbling and dragging noises (nearby restaurant?) which persisted between 9.30 pm and 4.30 am when we'd prefer to be sleeping. It did, however, have a reasonable quality bathroom.
