Spent two weeks on Britannia in the Caribbean and I've got to say we thoroughly enjoyed the ship, we had a superior deluxe balcony cabin on B deck which was superb, yes the balcony is on the small side but how much room do you need, we found it perfectly adequate, the only negative would be at times you could hear some noise from the upper deck and at times you could feel the movement of the ship but this didn't affect us really it's just an observation. The cabin steward was excellent as were all staff that we encountered, embarkation was good even though there was a problem with our cruise cards, this was dealt with quickly and without too much drama, we had to wait a few hours for our cases but this was not a problem for us as we were on board and making good use of the facilities, it's only a drama if you choose to make it one.

We used some of the speciality restaurants, The Epicurean once and this was not a good experience, the food was first class but the service was appalling hence only the one visit.

The Limelight club twice, we saw Jackie Graham, not a great night, the show didn't flow and we got a bit bored, food again was excellent although a limited choice, service was ok but we were slightly disappointed with the show, we also went to see Darren Day, we weren't expecting too much but thought seeing has we had booked we'd give it another chance and we thoroughly enjoyed it, to our surprise Darren Day was excellent, he has a great singing voice and he's impressions were spot on and he was also very funny, he received a standing ovation and well deserved it was.

Cabin Review

Cabin Superior Deluxe Balcony

Spacious and clean, shower over bath, shower pressure wasn't great but was ok, plenty of hanging and drawer space, cases fit under the bed. Key card entry which is also your cruise card for purchases onboard, ours went wonky a couple of times but just replaced it at reception.
