Going into our planning, we had only ever cruised with Royal Caribbean. I was told by friends to expect a much higher class, and boy did I!

We traveled with our 2 small boys (age 2 and 6). At Port Canaveral, if you pre-register and do as your asked by Royal at least 3 days prior to sailing and print all your sign and sail paperwork - your time getting on the ship will be AT THE MOST 45 min. One of the best ports to cruise out of. From the time our luggage was taken off the shuttle to the time we got on the ship, it was maybe 40 min. You are called by a group number to board.

Once on board, you have the ability to go straight to the windjammer to start eating. We were told that we would be able to access our room around 1 pm. We were on board at 11 am.

Tiny but expected. Nothing against Royal - just wish we had the opportunities for up grades. We asked several times but the ship was full.

Port Reviews

Port Canaveral (Orlando)

Awesome experience to see real gators. The cows all around were hilarious and hard to believe they stay alive.
