We, my wife and I, have been on over 25 cruises, NCL, Princes and Carnival, the Magic was our 5th Carnival. To start off got a good deal thru the Casnio. the Ultra Premium Casino Cruise they call it. We were on the Breeze back in Feb on a Premium Casino Cruise. On the Premium Casino Cruise on the Breeze, we got some really nice gifts thru the Casino, plus 400 to play with and free drinks. This time only actually one gift in the room, and 400 dollars in the so called gift give away one night. You would expected to get the same gift as everyone else, so went to the Casino the night of the give away, and they had us all, 40 each night, stand around while they called our names, when your name was called you picked a number out of a drum and then they had a card with that number and on the back of the card was your gift. Mine was 400 dollars. Not bad, but other gifts and quite a few were high end dollar things like a 60 inch TV, a few Apple lap tops, Ipads, apple watches and a diamond watch which ws a 1000 bucks. just a few of us got the low end, like one guy got 350 dollars in the gift shop, oh wow money in the high price and carnival only gift shop....It really seemed very unfair to all of us who shoiuld have gotten the same gift, you'd think.
Also each night , well not each like every other night you got chocolate covered strawberries that were, well looked like been in the freezer, one night 6 cookies, aother night one bottle of champange, the last night two plastic drink containers.........really lame.
Top it off, again like so many have said, the food on the Magic is terrible, each night in main dinning room had to send something back or not eat at all, only good thing was the Pizza........buffet was ok, nothing to write home about. Service on the Magic was not good, so many seem mad, or couldn't bother with you. The Breeze on the other hand was super, great food each and every night in the dinning room, can't figure that one out.....they are basically sister ships....never again on the Magic, because the Magic was just not there.

Deluxe Ocean View
First time ever having an ocean view, normally we have balconies. Never again. No real ventilation, very bottom deck, elevators always in use long wait times to go anywhere. After we were on thought well at least it will be easy to get off, WRONG....with luggage you have to go up to the 4th floor, then down to the third floor becasue , well it's like you can't get there from here if you know what i mean.
