We had been looking forward to our first cruise with Celebrity for some time. We have cruised with Royal Caribbean, Cunard, Princess, and Thomson in the past and my goodness it did not disappoint. We flew out with BA from Glasgow then onto Miami in their new A380 super jumbo which was great with lots of entertainment to chose from. Now moving onto what has to be the worst airport in the world in Miami. Close to three hours from landing to catching a cab. Huge lines with little organisation at times and over an hour just from picking up our luggage to getting out of the terminal. We spent two nights pre cruise down in south beach at the Savoy hotel which we really rated. Not the best of weather to use their lovely pool area but lots of character in this old Art Deco building.

So onto our cruise and from arriving at the port to embarkation was around an hour and all pretty straightforward and well organised. First thing we did when getting on board was to upgrade our drinks pack to premium (well worth it given the drinks prices) and Murano restaurant at the offered discount of 50%.

We then headed up to our balcony cabin on deck six and were lucky to get straight in. Our room steward Jeffrey introduced himself and we met Robert later that day, both were first class throughout the cruise. We loved the cabin, a good size with a larger balcony on the hump and the best shower we have had on a cruise with a proper door. Really good choice of free movies on the interactive tv.
