The cruise travelled from Sydney to Hobart stopping at Melbourne on the way down. Voyager is larger than any ship we have travelled on previously - lots of bars, lounges and dining rooms. We prefer the smaller ships - having said that if we found an itinerary we liked we would sail on her again.
There were lots of activities on board. The usual sexiest man competition - always a laugh. They had exercise dancing, line dancing, lots of trivia, karaoke - these were all free. We did watch some of them and they looked great. There were also lots of activities that you had to pay for the flowrider, bingo, exercises classes, the usual spa treatments, cup cake making and of course the art auction.
We flew into Sydney and caught a train to and from Circular Quay from the airport - only takes about 20 minutes and then a 10 minute to the ship. Then we were onboard about 30 minutes later. Cabins were not available until 1.00pm so we just went to the Windjammer for lunch which was really busy.
This cabin was in an excellent area. It was towards the front of the ship about two cabins from the lifts. The room was really great full bathroom with a bath tub! We don't have one at home so sea days were excellent for a bubble bath - the only draw back would be the shower is over the bath and it was quite a step up into it. We were fine however I would think for elderly people it would be quite difficult.
Heaps of storage space with toweling gowns for our use. We had a big two seater lounge and two singles. The balcony was large with a table, two chairs and one lounger - which was great for sea days to enjoy the view.
