Sail Date: Nov 2015

My family and I sailed on the Noweigan Sky from Monday the 30th of November to the 4th of December, Friday. From Palm Beach County, it took us three hours to get to the Port of Miami. Ugh- Monday traffic on the Golden Glades! The embarkation was OK and went fine.

The cabins we had on deck #7 were extremely SMALL and neat. As in other ships and cruises that I have done in the last 20 years- cruises totalng 24 in number- we were surprised not to meet or see our cabin steward for 4 days. In other ships, the cabin stewards knocked on our door and asked us if we needed anything. The selection and quality of food in the buffet on the pool deck was very poor. Half of the area was for hamburgers, hot dogs, pizza and some salad and desert. Very poor selections and taste not nearly as good as RCCL and Carnival.

The main dining food was horrendous. We also ate in the two specialty restaurants- II Bistro for French and then Cagney's for steak. Do not go on this ship and eat anywhere but these two restaurants...stay away from main dining room. This was my 24th cruise and the last time that I was on NCL was 20 years ago. Save your $$$ and spend a few extra dollars and go on Carnival or RCCL. I must say that the casino with many 1 cent machines were great.
