Summary: Nice, but not exceptional. Overall rating 7 out of 10. I'm not sorry we went, but not sure I'd go out of my way to recommend to other people. Details are provided below.

Food: Many speciality restaurants for additional $25.00 per person charge. Very good, but not sure if worth it. Many restaurants that were included in the price for breakfast and lunch (Solarium Bistro, Central Park 150, etc) turned into extra charge for dinner. Starbucks, Johnny Rocket and Ben and Jerry's were private restaurants and not included in price. The food portions in dining room were very small, but nice if you just wanted to taste something new. You could always get more. Food in buffet typical fare. Hard to keep warm and bakery not exactly fresh. I think "foodies" would appreciate the choices, but since I'm a fairly conservative eater, I preferred the more simple fare. There were many choices for breakfast and lunch, but they were mostly previously prepared (egg mcmuffin, ham and cheese pannis) with no options for customization like hold the ham, no butter on English muffin, etc. One of the things I found strange is that the breakfast buffet had no place to order a custom omelette…one of my vacation indulgences.

Rooms: Small but adequate. Had balcony over Central Park. Would not recommend. The view was nice, but you had no sensation of being on ship. You never saw the water unless you were on the top deck. Other balcony options include over the ocean and boardwalk. Ocean balcony is the way to go. There was some noise from pool crew setting up deck chairs early in the morning because we were close to the pool end of the ship. We also heard the music and live bands. Nothing like Christmas Carols played on a steel drum.
