We arrived at the cruise depot and were quickly processed and we onboard in a very short time. We were sitting down for lunch almost immediately at O'Sheehan's. After a pleasant lunch we made our way to our respective stateroom. Our luggage was there in an amazingly short time. After unpacking and getting organized we were off to try to figure out where everything was located.

The meals were mostly good, not as good as we have had on other NCLs. Service was slow at times. I do wish you would have either a salad bar at lunch time in the dining rooms or have a nice large salad for those of us that are trying to watch our weight. I ask for a double salad at one lunch and it was still very small in my opinion. There was a problem with the Garden Café, the food was not warm, it was disappointing. We usually eat in the dining rooms, so we didn't go back to the Garden Cafe. We did try the Margaritaville, it was just okay, but the wait to get in was ridiculous. We were surprised that there was a lot of wasted area that could have been utilized for setting. We heard that they are going to be changing this to a pay restaurant and we agreed that they need to improve their food to warrant doing that. The Thanksgiving dinner was a disappointment. As I was sick, only my husband went for dinner and he was not real happy with the dinner. Even though you are on a cruise, there should be a traditional meal available for those that want it. I understand there was no pumpkin pie and this was a downer for my husband. He also said that the dinner music was not appropriate. He said it was too loud.

The entertainment was great. I think it was the best we have had on a cruise. And we have been cruising for several years. We usually participle in Trivia, but it was usually scheduled at a bad time. Too early in the morning, especially. Did like the library that had tables so you could play cards.

Cabin Review

Mid-ship Balcony Stateroom

Cabin BA

The stateroom was more narrow than any of the previously rooms we have had on other cruises. We have plenty of room to store our items, including plenty of hangers. Normally we have had to request additional hangers. We were surprised that there were no drawers. We missed them. Loved the fact I could watch FOX news everyday. That was great! The bathroom was nice sized, and the shower was great. Loved the shower stall, no shower curtain to cling to your skin. The bed was comfortable and our room steward was very good.
