This was our third and worse cruise. Poor Elation; the ship is definitely in need of some upgrades. Our cabin was very dated, torn, not very clean and smelled horrible! Thank goodness we bought some Lysol!! The guy that cleaned our room did a poor job as well. The food quality was not good at all. I mainly ate at the Mongolian Wok and had what was supposed to be a grilled cheese sandwich, however the stuff they called cheese wouldn't even melt! The dining room staff was not very friendly either, we mainly ate on the Lido deck to avoid the boring dining room and the rude staff. Cozumel was very beautiful and I'm not sure why Carnival stops in Progesso, it's horrible. No lobster for the captains dinner was a big disappointment as well. I don't plan to ever cruise from the New Orleans port again nor cruise on the Elation. Poor poor Elation.
