This review can basically be summed up in a few words - Save your money!

For anybody considering splurging on the added expense of an upgrade (or initial booking costs) of a Courtyard Villa cabin on the Gem, save your money and stick with a balcony cabin or Oceanview cabin. Although the list of all the added amenities that come with a Courtyard Villa cabin, (including the so-called special VIP treatment) may be enticing, they are not there unless you go out of your way to constantly request them.
