Flew to Barbados with Thomas Cook as part of this deal. Seats that didn't recline which was okay on the way out but coming back on a night flight was absolutely awful. Four films as entertainment and you have to pay £4 to get an upgrade. Emirates it wasn't. Anyway embarkation was fairly quick. First impressions if ship were beige, beige and more beige. This was our 14th cruise with various different cduise lines and this one was probably the least impressive.

Cabin was ok, a bit on the small side but was perfectly adequate for what we wanted. Cleaning was a bit hit and miss but our cabin steward was good.

We had freedom dining so were able to eat in the Meridian restaurant whenever we wanted. On the first two nights the service wasn't that good but after that we had the same table for the rest of the cruise and came to know our two waiters really well. The food in the Meridian was very good with a lot of different choices. We enjoyed every meal there. The food in the buffet wasn't as good but got a bit monotonous after a few days. It was very small in the buffet area and the layout wasn't that good. It was very difficult trying to manouver trays around this area especially on sea days. Seating area was cramped and staff were a bit slow in removing dirty dishes
