The Voyager of the Seas is a very crowded ship. $80 million was spent on an upgrade which increased passenger numbers, more optional restaurants and resulted in less places to sit.

Too often there were very long lines waiting for coffee, a drink, food in the Windjammer and special events.

I found the staff were pushed to their limits. Individuals we had as cabin attendant, table servers, coffee shop staff and bar staff gave excellent service considering they were rushed off their feet.

Cabin Review

Deluxe Oceanview Stateroom with Balcony

Cabin E1

I was very satisfied with this cabin. It was spacious and quite well maintained. Our cabin attendant was one of the best encountered on 10+ cruises.

The bathroom although compact was very good. Curved shower doors ensured that the usual flooding of the bathroom floor didn't happen.

Be warned if you are after gentle hair shampoo bring your own as the provided pump variety was a little harsh for me.

Port Reviews

Sydney (Australia)

Self guided sights of the Emerald City using free guidebook were outstanding. A beautiful place.

Isle of Pines (New Caledonia)

Swimming near the Rock was very enjoyable. Better toilet facilities needed.

Mystery Island

Paradise. Beautiful clear water for swimming. Locals are getting a little greedy with their prices.
