OVERALL IMPRESSION: You could cut the tension on the ship with a knife. The staff was exhausted and the passengers were weary from technology mix ups. Personally, for us, on day two I bit down on a 1.5 inch long piece of thick wire in my two70 salad (yes, I reported it to the officer who served me). Never heard another word about the wire in my salad. It was non-bendable, very hard and thick wire, that poked my gum when I bit down on it. The officer offered medical assistance, which wasn't necessary, but it would have been nice to get a "formal" apology from someone higher up. Should have kept it or taken a picture of it.
Further disappointment ranged from the wifi issues, a botched on-boarding process, missing reservations, an empty fridge, a toilet that wouldn’t flush, a ruined birthday surprise that was set up as Bon Voyage and finally the lack of real fun on-board the ship. While in Nassau, we were docked next to a Norwegian ship…they welcomed their passengers back from their shopping spree with a conga line of staff and Caribbean music playing while the staff cheered at passengers dancing their way to the gangway. Us? We limped our way back on-board hoping the next day would be a better day. We felt sorry for the wonderful staff. They had their hands full of grumpy and frustrated passengers.
DINING and RESTAURANTS:
Cabin nice, average. My Happy Birthday decorations were botched and replaced with Bon Voyage. We were disappointed to not see a towel animal on our bed every night greeting us as we returned. I believe we only had 4 nights with a towel animal.
Town is getting a bit run down since we last visited 5 years ago.
Very clean and easy to access.
