NCL Breakaway: Florida & Bahamas

Background: In February, I went on the 2 day “Trip to Nowhere” on the Breakaway. We had such an amazing time. I really wanted to go on the Anthem, to try something new, but my friends convinced us that the Breakaway will be better since the drink package was included & it was a lot less expensive than the Anthem (at the time). I am from Staten Island, a quick 40 minute ride to the cruise port. I went on this trip with my husband & two other couples… This is my husband & I’s 9th cruise. We always go on Royal Caribbean , Carnival & NCL.

In this review, I will try to talk about stuff others really do not mention that I questioned before the trip. Hopefully I can answer other’s questions =)

Cabin Review

Mid-Ship Balcony Stateroom

Cabin BB

Nice size stateroom, smallest balcony we ever had. Overall, nice!

Port Reviews

Nassau

Horrible! I hated Atlantis & will never go back. It took 45 minutes just to get a tube. It was boring. A hamburger and chicken wrap was 30 bucks. Such a waste of money. Worst part of my cruise

Port Canaveral (Orlando)

Fun at time, but always boring at times. The people working there were wonderful. The tour would of been perfect if it was 2 hours shorter.
